Olivia Christine Bryer Leh, born 12/21/91-Her 1st middle name was given as tribute to my sister, C. More…Louise Leh, Parkland, class of 1964. She passed away due to pancreatic cancer on our wedding anniversary on 09/30/91. Livy has been in just about every sport available in the Beth. Twnsp. Recreation Assoc. except for field hockey, soccer, and football. In her earlier years she was part of gymnastics of the locally based, famous Parkettes affiliation and danced with the regionally, well known O'Grady/Quinlan School of Irish Dance. She also, in her Junior H. S. years, was part of Freedom High School's accelerated Nature Quest program combining classroom w/ various field trips around the region (dealing with science, biology, botany, conservation, etc.). It is almost reminiscent of high school classroom, my Boy Scouting days curiculum subjects, combined with a little of Parkland's, ahead of it's time, "jungle" habitat. It doesn't surprise me that she got into chorus (in her middle school years) and art @ the Baum School of Art, the well known area's Freedom H. S. leading edge drama program classes, and is taking horsemanship, riding lessons @ Burgundy Hollow in Northampton with Karla Altman. My sister passed away 3 months before she was born and strangely, these are ALL the subjects Christine excelled in as well, which leads me to believe that Chris must either be her guardian angel or has some passed on parallel genetics. Check out the upcoming Freddy Awards (covered by Channel 69 & Easton's State Theatre) as Parkland's "Godspell" goes head-to-head with Freedom's "The Wizard Of Oz". A lot of the region's high school's are in contention as well. |
