Keith L. Ruch, 61, of Wescosville, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Janet M. (Green) Ruch. The couple celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary last October 1. Born in Allentown, July 13, 1950, Keith was the son of the late Gilmore E. and Roxsella M. (Walters) Ruch. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. Keith was formerly employed at Orange Products in Allentown and the former Tyler Pipe Company in Macungie. He was a member of the Cetronia Fire Company, the East Allentown Fire Company, the Petersville Rod & Gun Club, Bath, the Italian-American Bocce Association and the Franklin Home Association, both of Allentown. His hobbies include baseball, ice hockey and bowling. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Janet; children, Christopher M. Ruch of Whitehall and Tammy M. Landis and her husband, Kevin, of Macungie; siblings, Sandra A. Pickett, Roxsella E. Frank, Gilmore E. Ruch, Vanessa S. East, Scott L. Ruch and Polly L. Wrecsics; grandchildren, Chase and Casie; several nieces and nephews; predeceased by a son, Darryl L. Ruch. Service: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
