Harold E. Shoemaker, Jr. 64, of Allentown, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Sharon K. (Dell) Shoemaker to whom he was married 42 years last September 15. Born in Allentown, August 24, 1951, Harold was the son of Alice M. (Broadbent) Shoemaker of Allentown and the late Harold E. Shoemaker, Sr. He owned and operated the former Shoemaker Jeep, Inc. in South Whitehall Township for the last 28 years. Harold was a member of Morgenland Church in Orefield where he formerly served as President of the consistory. He was a member of Jordan Lodge # 673, F. & A.M. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife and mother; daughter, Michelle L. Lynn and her husband Jeffrey of Allentown; granddaughter, Bianca N. Lynn of Allentown; siblings, Bryan J. Shoemaker and his wife, Toni of Nazareth, Patricia A. Lewis of Breinigsville, Suellen J. Fleming and her husband, Bradley of Hellertown; several nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral services will be held 11:00 am. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield with the Rev. Sally D. Zelker officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9 - 11:00 am. Saturday in the church narthex. Interment will follow the service in the adjacent church cemetery.
