Dwight H. Snyder, 67, of Schnecksville, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, September 13, 1951, Dwight was the son of Marion L. (Hausman) Snyder of Schnecksville and the late Clifford C. Snyder. He owned and operated the former Snyder’s Auto Repair in Schnecksville for many years before retiring. Prior to that, he worked in oil and gas exploration for Western Geophysical Corp. for several years. Dwight was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, and I.O.O.F. # 192, Schnecksville. He also was a member of the Lehigh Valley Camaro Club.
Survivors: In addition to his mother, Marion; daughter, Vicki A. Snyder of Schnecksville; sister, Pamela C. Kelchner and her husband, Richard of Fleetwood; several nieces and nephews; predeceased by a brother, Craig K. Snyder.
Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
