Joseph Egan (1970)

I was late to hear the sad news that John has passed away and was able to find his obituary in the Allentown paper.

I have fond memories of John especially because we were wrestling buddies.  Of course, the one you have practiced (and sweated with) is the one you remember best.  I liked John a lot, he was really balanced and a tough opponent.  I always had a slight advantage being just a bit heavier which in wrestling means a lot.

He was very good-natured and a serious guy.  When I read that he was active in his church it seemed very fitting.

My condolences to his family and other friends who may read this note.
